Google Pagespeed Apache Module EasyApache 4

There seems to be scarce information on the proper way to install the Google Pagespeed Module for Apache on WHM/Cpanel via EasyApache 4.

Second command doesn't work (404 not found). I also searched threads here and someone else pointed it out and there was a reply point to

There appears to be no "good" set of instructions I can find to install it. This is pretty surprising due to (a) the large installed base of WHM/Cpanel, and (b) the widely acknowledged importance of the Pagespeed Insight tool results which most commonly has a problem render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content which this module is suppose to help address.

Can anyone point me to a current good set of install instructions for Google Pagespeed Module.

I hope that executing that first command didn't screw anything up.

yum install rpm-build cpio ea-apache24-mod_version

It looks like that's a flaw in their installation documentation. The correct command is:

wget https://github.com/Prajithp/cPanel_Mod_PageSpeed/blob/master/EA4/ea-apache24-mod_pagespeed-latest-stable.src.rpm

I recommend reviewing the existing issues, and reporting a new one if nessisary. Their issues page is located at:

i am trying to install mod_pagespeed as well. But the link provided does not help. Or rather is not detailed enough.

Anyone have successfully install it into EA4 with CentOS 7?
