Does Gossamer Fileman still come with Cpanel? A new hosting provider we have must not have it installed as we can not access it. I can on my old server, but not my new one.

Is there a way to install this, or do I need to contact the provider?

"Gossamer Fileman" is not part of cPanel/WHM nor has it ever been. I am not familiar with a third-party application called "Gossamer Fileman."

Why not use the File Manager built into cPanel itself?

does the file manager allow me to go to /var/cpanel and upload? Gossamer does, so, that is why I was asking. I am just use to Gossamer, but the new provider does not provide it.

I thought you were talking about cPanel, not WHM - cPanel File Manager is limited to individual user accounts.

I need to be able to upload packages and features to the /var/cpanel dir to save me time...loads of time. I was just looking for a tool to do this, and Gossamer would allow it.

What command would I use to copy these files from one server to another? I am looking at rcp, but that is fairly new to me.

    I'd use sftp.

I read in another post that you are transferring quite a few sites.
Have you had a look at MigrateMe? I'm not in any way affiliated with the software author, but we have moved thousands of accounts with this tool.
