Im new to all of this.. So be nice...

I have a site that for the log in for customers is under https. It shows this on the address bar. But I have paid for the go daddy ev green address bar. It pops up on the pages then goes away. The https still stays. How do I fix this and how do I get every page to be secured. I have talked to the web designer and he has no clue on why its doing this.

If I go to my zencart admin page. It's not https. I log in and the admin page has the green bar and it stays. But as soon as I click anything from the admin page. The green bar goes away and its not even https. It turns into http.

I'm freaken lost here... Please help... Again, I'm new, but follow directions great!

First and most basic thing to check is that the links are https links and not http. If your developer didn't understand that could be time to find someone more aware of basics.

Secondly, click the security icon in most browsers and check out the information there which may explain why some https pages don't maintain the green bar. I wonder if some items on the page are unsecured? That can cause issues with Chrome, for instance.

Well an update.... We figured out what was wrong. There was a banner/icon on the site in a sidebox that was coded in http. Witch didnt let the ssl go secure. I took the banner out and boom.. there was the green https secure address bar...

Everything was working great.. Then the host bandwidth was maxed out for the month. I was at 4991.5 of 5000 MB. So I'm thinking it shut it down or something.. I got a hold of the host and they bumped my bandwidth to 10000MB.. But its still showing Access Denied when you look up the page..

So, I'm waiting for the automatic reset thing to happen so I can get back online..

regarding the SSL issue, most likely you are using any content(banner, add etc etc) from external sites based on http (unsecured mode) so it will always give you issues when your own SSL certificate does not support these unsecured contents.
if you want everything works in secure mode, then you need all your files/pages placed under your own SSL folder.
