Has anyone tried greensql with a cpanel server? I m looking for added security and I run it on a non control panel server but I do not want to try it on any of my production cpanel server to break anything.

What pisses me off is the guy who runs that website ( www.greensql.net ) has put out step-by-step instructions on how to attack a mysql server and then says to avoid it put his crap on the machine.

Why would he do this other than to promote his product through enabling every moron out there to make attempts at attacking mysql servers.

well i use it on other servers and it seems to get the job done I think he does it to encourage people to use it. I have been very satisfied with the product maybe ill just throw cpanel trial on my IBM dual Xeon box in my room and play with it there and see what happens.
