So I ran ps -aux for giggles on a server earlier today, and noticed this:

    68 2789 0.0 0.1 5332 1352 ? Ss Aug11 0:02 hald
    root 2790 0.0 0.0 3100 696 ? S Aug11 0:00 hald-runner
    68 2796 0.0 0.0 1968 624 ? S Aug11 0:00 hald-addon-acpi: listening on acpid socket /var/run/acpid.socket
Just out of curiousity, why is hald running as user "68"? It's a CentOS 5 box, and it's running as root on my CentOS 4.5 box. Is this normal, or should I worry that something else is funky?
