Hard problems with Tweak Ftp Settings

In Tweak Ftp Settings, I changed from Proftpd to Pure-ftpd. Pure seems more speed than Pro but it has a problem.


With Pure-ftpd configured, if you try to change the main password of an account from WHM or Cpanel, the password changes for cpanel but not for ftp. Then you have the old password (not changed for ftp) and the new password for cpanel.

I think this is a problem.

2º

Before this error, I return to Proftpd and now I can't connect by ftp to subdomains accounts.

I can't connect to any subdomain in my server. I have tried to modify the password, delete and create the subdomains.

I have asked for help to cPanel Support Staff but after 4 emails, Eric Gregory only tried to connect to main account and says that it is working fine!!!!

What has happened? Am i silly?

Please, I need help, really help not not simple answers of people who does not have knowledges.

Are you logging in with [email protected] ?

That should work for the sub-domains.

Yes I have tried to connect with username and [email protected]

With Pro-ftpd is username/pass and with Pure is [email protected]/pass, but now that I restore the server to Pro-ftpd from Pure-ftpd (by errors in Pure-ftpd) any subdomain can connect in my server.

You don't mention if you used: WHM & Cpanel 5 & Synchronize FTP Passwords

I presume it is for &proftp& (not sure if it's supposed to work with &pure&amp, but it might solve the problem now that you are back to &pro&.
