    Heya all,
I am currently running CPANEL on a "Dell 400SC P4-2.8GHz 800MHz FSB HT". I am looking at going now to a "DUAL XEON 3GHZ 533FSB w/HYPERTHREADING".

I am wondering if I would notice a performance increase if I do this. As both servers will cost me pretty much the same thing.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

In my opinion, you´re going to improve the performance because you have dual processor and hyperthreading.

But it depends on the memory too.

    Hi Adrian,
Thanks for that, I will have the same amount of memory in both, 2GB but at least in the new one I can up that to a max of 8GB in my current server I am maxed out at 2GB.
    Cheers
    Stuart

In my opinion, it would be a great change.
if you finally migrate the server, tell my what is the difference.

    Regards.
