has anyone been able to deploy wavemaker on a cpanel server?

We've tried to deploy a wavemaker .WAR file on our cpanel server. the page shows "Loading..." and stays there. I've seen another post with the same error on the wavemaker forum but no solution. Any ideas, suggestions would be appreciated. What should i check?

Are you checking it on port 8080? I just wondered if it is working under the Tomcat port or not.

Also, does wavemaker require any type of database connection to work? I'm simply not familiar with it. If you have a url for the site to obtain the .war file, please provide it and I'll try to test it.
