    We found that our Serverloads jumps from 0.5 to 6 from one to the other second. Now i had found that one HDD is running with 32bit the other one with 16bit (Both are identical HDD'S)

    /dev/hda:
    multcount = 16 (on)
    IO_support = 1 (32-bit)
    unmaskirq = 1 (on)
    using_dma = 1 (on)
    keepsettings = 0 (off)
    readonly = 0 (off)
    readahead = 8 (on)
    geometry = 9729/255/63, sectors = 156301488, start = 0

    hdparm /dev/hdb

    /dev/hdb:
    multcount = 16 (on)
    IO_support = 0 (default 16-bit)
    unmaskirq = 0 (off)
    using_dma = 1 (on)
    keepsettings = 0 (off)
    readonly = 0 (off)
    readahead = 8 (on)
    geometry = 9729/255/63, sectors = 156301488, start = 0

    When i change the Second HDD with hdparm -c3 /dev/hdb to 32bit Mode could this result in Datal loss ?
