And look around the forum. there are many many stuck threads on using and dealing with the system. One question, why get whm before you even know the first thing? Shouldn't you have researched a little ahead of time?

It's not simple, you need to configure WHM and setup your nameservers, etc.. etc.. etc.. etc..

There is a sitky thread that explains all of that in one of the forums, that would be your best bet to start or hire one of the admin type guys.

Also cPanel WHM's manual is actually very helpful with what your asking for. It guides you through what information you need to configure your server, and to get it up and running.

    http://www.cpanel.net/docs/whm/

I suggest you read both the 'Installation' and 'Server Setup' topics before continuing. Hopefully this will help you as the guide is bascially a step by step for the most part.

? the forum stays in the same place... http://forums.cpanel.net , the posts however would most likely get deleted after 2 months.... cPanel's forum has 39,837 threads, 188,113 posts, and 47,205 members. Everyday this increases so pruning is needed every so often.

ye, what can i say, you help where you can so that they can help when you cant. lol.

mmm, i am trying to get me a domain at http://www.za.net but when i register, it gives me that error, is it something i filled in wrong, or something that i should fill in that i didnt, or what.

that is about what i know.

    lol

Right ok..... thats nothing to do with cPanel at all but with http://www.za.net. You need to make sure to have correct suppiled all the information, i do not know what Item 5a or 6a, but the error i do understand is the 'ERROR: You cannot have the same nameserver listed twice'

You need to have two seperate nameservers addresses, different host names and IPs. This however does not mean you have to have two servers, but you need two paths though. This is generally why when when you get a dedicated server, you get 2 or more IP addresses given to you.

Make sure all the information it requires is entered, correct the NS details and see if that helps.

This aint a place to discuss avatars, and frankly, you have not read the documentation. I would highly reccomend that you read the manual over and over and over and over again. #cpanel on efnet might help.

    Regards

This is the cPanel support forum, i suggest speaking to your host to get the correct NS information you need for the site.
