I'm a real newbie when it comes to everything LOL !!

Please help me with this one....

I have "old domains" added to the server outside of cpanel/whm.
When I try to add these in the whm it says the DNS entry already excists or something. I guess I need to remove the entry in the
http.config file first and then readd everything in WHM.

How do I edit the http.config file ?
Any simple steps and commands I can use ?
Can't tocuh the file thorugh FTP/SFTP so I need to do it
    by logging in through shell.

    Thanks !!!
