Right now, my server (redhat 9.0) is using 216.104.65.x IPs but I need to add some IPs from 216.104.71.x to the same server. I configured the IPs myself by creating ifcfg files. I've double checked all the settings, gateway, netmask, subnet, broadcast, they're all correct but I can't access the IPs.

I read in an old post, it's not possible to have different subnets on the same network card. If that's the case.. why? I can do it on windows, which makes it odd.

Anyway, I just need verification of this, it's not hard to throw a new network card in the server.

    Thanks.
