HELP all sites lost afer upcp!!

Hello,

i'm shocked, today upcp deletet all files unter /home, now only the resellers are left and in teh resellers directorys are only the error pages left. changet 04:02, thats when ipcp runns via cron.

running WHM 10.8.0 cPanel 10.9.0-C4

the account in whm, are still here, but the files unter /home are all gone, i'm in big problem now!

what could be the reaseon?

I highly doubt this was upcp... Are you sure you didn't delete them accidently or were hacked?

hi,
if you have provision to get spport from your server provide, please raise a ticket for this, it must be something else as upcp happens on thousands of servers every day, if it was a bug, then today a lot of server owners would have reported this.

if you are unsure, hire a system admin and get this checked.


it would be best to get your box scanned for any possible hacks.
