I need some desperate help if anyone can make suggestions.
Apache is failing on my server since 4pm this afternoon - suddenly happened.
I checked the httpd log - nothing at all in there.
Tomcat had stopped working a few days ago - seemingly after recent update - so to make sure it wasnt this, Ive removed tomcat compeleteley - and all references in httpd.conf
still apache wont restart.
I do a httpd configtest and there are a few entries with a mising </virtualhost> - strange - so I correct this. Plus some missing sub domain entries like Warning: DocumentRoot [/home/blah/public_html/] doesn not exist.
then run httpd configtest again - I get "syntax OK"
I've run /scripts/easyapache - ive restarted my server - still apache wont start.
Things ive done today...
Al I have done today is run a zone fixup and i had some trouble with an ssl cert - I had to create new signing requests about 5 times and there was still a problem with the key - long story - so Ive removed some recent files from usr/share/ssl/certs - no big deal.
I'm totally lost as to what might be the problem and I've got a few hundred domains on here !!
Any help would be GREATLY (paypal) appreciated !!
