Hello,

I had just got a new server and had cPanel/WHM installed. During setting up hostname/nameservers, I did not realise about setting up the correct IP's corresponding to the nameservers.

I want to fix the nameservers so that they're correctly assigned. I did automatically assign, and it assigned a private IP. Currently it's as following

x.x.x.2 (NS1)
x.x.x.140 (NS2)

I would like to fix it (in all aspects, nameservers, dns, etc) to
x.x.x.141 (NS1)
x.x.x.142 (ns2)

How would I go abouts doing this? And if I'm doing this, what else will I have to fix as there are already a few accounts on the server.

Thanks!

Thanks for the help! :) It did somewhat help me, however I did a bit more searching and I found that I had to do the following

edit /etc/nameserverips
Put in correct ips corresponding to namerservers

edit /var/cpanel/nameserverips.yaml (be sure to backup first)
I noticed the ips were not set in this, as well it was set to eth0 not eth1

Used nano to edit configs

Hope this helps with other people as well :)
