Help!

Our SSL certificates have failed with 301s in place forcing https. The URL I have to access WHM doesn't work. And I can't submit a support ticket because "IP address and support access ID do not match."

cPanel is installed, and I've got sudo access to it on the command line. I need to renew the certificates asap.

Thanks!

It doesn't matter what IP address was used during the installation, as long as the IP exists on the server and is functioning you should be able to access cPanel & WHM using it, which would allow you to open a ticket with support.

Another issue may be at play. I haven't logged into it before and am trying to pick this issue apart. I know cPanel's installed and functional enough to return the id# on the command line, and the IP address + WHM ports timeout. I'm assuming cPanel worked at one time, but don't know how to move forward.

I'm afraid to go mucking about Apache's configuration directly, I'm inexperienced with cPanel's integration. Unless I can figure out how to work within cPanel I'll go ahead and try to configure a lamp stack around it.

Any help opening a support ticket would be appreciated too.

You can open a ticket also by emailing [email protected] - that takes you to our customer service team. I'm not sure based on this information what exactly is happening with your installation either and it might be best to get into a situation where our analysts are able to access the server.

Thanks for that. In the midst of it, hitting that wall was a slap in the face. I was so caught up in the moment I couldn't find the support address.

Can I renew the SSL certificates through the command line?

Thanks!
