    $socket2 = fsockopen("www.domain.com",2082);
    $authstrft = "$username:$password";
    $passft = base64_encode($authstrft);
    $inft = "GET /frontend/x2/ftp/dopasswdftp.html?acct=$USERNAME&password=$newpasswd\r\n HTTP/1.0\r\nAuthorization: Basic $passft \r\n";
    fputs($socket2,$inft);
    fclose($socket2);

    I am trying to use the above script to let my FTP account holders change their password by logging in to a members area and then filling out a form. The problem is that the script does not work...the old password does not work and the new one does not work either. Something is making the passwords corrupt.

    Can anyone help???

    Does anyone know how to fix this? I have a feeling that this script doesn't allow cpanel to automatically synch the ftp password, which it normally does from the control panel. Is there a way to alter the script so it synchs the password properly?
