We have a 2.4Ghz server with 2Gb of ram onboard that we are having troubles with.

The server contains one site which does around 600Gb a month of traffic and is runnign CPanel and has a 100Mbit connection

The server itself runs fine and 99% of the time, loads are low, however the website itself is very slow to get into.

I am assuming apache needs further tweaking

I currently have the following settings:

    Timeout 300
    KeepAlive Off
    MaxKeepAliveRequests 50
    KeepAliveTimeout 15
    MinSpareServers 5
    MaxSpareServers 10
    StartServers 5
    MaxClients 300
    MaxRequestsPerChild 0

Im wondering if this would be correct or if adjusting it would help?

    any suggestions?

    Go on, have a guess
I would have suggested turning off KeepAlives, but you already have that. You could try increasing these to in tandem:

    MinSpareServers 5
    MaxSpareServers 10
    StartServers 5

However, I doubt that would make a huge difference. Does this site use a MySQL backend? If so, you should enable a query cache which could help significantly:

No databases running just php and html pages.

I'll try playing around with the settings

    Try:

    MaxClients 100
    MaxRequestsPerChild 1000
