Not a 100% sure about this but in WHM you have a function

    Config File Rollback
Please select a file to rollback: can you get to that function from

    SSH /scripts/?????

found this one but not sure it would help

    /scripts/reswhostmgr

Ive effectively wiped out everyhting such as perl etc so i cant really do much. I need to get whm and cpanel reloaded and the server basically setup from scratch again, but im not sure how to go about it

Wow you made a big mistake. I hope your backups are reliable. Good luck and let us know what happened.

You'll probably need to reinstall every rpm on the system. Whatever you do don't reboot till you fix it as you may not be able to get the system to boot again without a rescue disk.

ah i backed up the clients to a remote server then scrubbed everything and did a fresh install.

Everything is working except IMAP which fails to restart every few minutes. I had the same problem when this server was first setup a month ago.

Well congrats on fixing it. Have you tried restarting the IMAP server? Sometimes it just needs a kick in the ass to get going properly.

Hmm weird. How did you fix it before? If all else fails submit a support request.

awsol, I really don't like that avatar of yours. Did you ever think about that not everyone might be interested in being forced looking at it? It's difficult to avoid when reading threads that one is interested in and where you posted a messages. :(

I'm going to guess you're on Windows. Do yourself a favor and add awsol.com to you hosts file to be ignored. The image won't load and you will get a red X
