Help me upload mp3 to website and allow users to download right off website

    Hi, my website is /http://www.insanegovernment.com, and on this website i would like to put a "download past show page.
    " Now on this page i want it to have the shows name, description ect. AND a download link. BUT i would like to know how i can make it so that when you click it to download the show that it will download it from the website, not bringing the user somewhere else? PLEASE HELP

    You might find more help for something like this via google. Your question has nothing to do with cPanel that I can tell.

    so theres no way i can upload things on my cpanel and allow the people to download it?

    Hello :)

    Yes, you can upload files via FTP or through cPanel File Manager:

    File Manager

    However, you would need to create the website yourself. This may involve searching the Internet for information on how to include download links within a page.

    data can be uploaded via FTP .so it works.Talking about downloading data,you may need to put some script so use google .Can you please tell me in which technology your site is ?

    radio shows, i just would like it to serve like, that when a person clicks the link it will take the download uploaded on the website in the FTP to give to the person STRAIGHT OFF the website

    You could just give them a link to the file to download in the page:

    HTML Links

    This site explains how to create links. You can simply include the path to the file on your site for the link. If the link is something downloadable (such as an mp3 or pdf), then the user's browser should detect that extension at the end of the url and try to download it for the proper program type to open.
