    Help

    I deleted my public html file from the advice of my IT manager at work, now my site is down and nothing corrects my action, I've tried over and over again to restore the file with now success, Please help.

    Hence my name
    Oops!

    create public_html directory on your /home directory, chmod it to 755 and then upload your files to public_html and chmod all files to 644.

    You may also need it to be owned by username:nobody which only your web hosting provider (i.e. someone with root access to the server) can do with the chown app.
