    Hello,

All my customers are recieving abusive emails from a certain email address. He has harvested the addresses from our form. Is there a way to block emails from this sender coming through all of my servers so this guys emails dont reach my customers.

    Thanks in advance.

    Block the class C

Do an nslookup on the domain. This will reveal the IP address. To stop it once and for all, block the class C using the following command, as root, on your server:

    #route add -net xxx.xxx.xxx.0 netmask 255.255.255.0 reject

This should take care of it.

    That doesnt really help

    Can you be more specific?

    What goes where?

Say this is the ip f.f.f.f. which is obviously isnt. Where does that go.

    And is anything else needed?

Get his IP, then SSH as root and type the following:

    iptables -I INPUT -s 123.456.789.012 -j DROP
    iptables-save

Where 123.456.789.012 is the offending IP address. This will ban the IP from the server.

    iptables -L INPUT -x

to list the rules for chain input

    iptables -D INPUT -yy
