    Hello everyone at cPanel forums!

I am having the exact same issue reported here:

    http://forums.cpanel.net/f5/using-http-www-intodns-com-i-get-same-clue-error-100445.html

This is what the report says:

a bit further down the report says:

To complicate the issue even further, a ticket I have open with cPanel confirms that my DNS setup for the nameservers, parent domain, host is 100% fine.

The IP address xxx.yyy.244.229 is ONLY registered as an A record for a domain that is very similar to the nameservers' one, apart from the extension .net instead of .com, pointing to an external VPS:

    [root@server6 ~]# cd /var/named
    [root@server6 named]# grep "xxx.yyy.244.229" *
    *******1.net.db:vps 14400 IN A xxx.yyy.244.229
    [root@server6 named]#

This is really giving me quite a headache, I seem to have strange issues with some domains and emails not been delivered when they are sent from domains whose DNS record reports this issue.

I appreciate any suggestion you can give me.

    Thanks a lot!

    Fabio

    Hello :)

Could you provide the ticket number? I can review the ticket and look at your specific DNS configuration in order to provide a more accurate answer.

    Thank you.

Hello Michael, and thank you so much for your willingness to help.

    The ticket number is 4311995.

The issue has now been resolved, there was an error at the domain registrar where one of the two nameservers had a wrong IP stored.

Once the IP was corrected at the domain registrar, the issue was immediately rectified.
