    We have one box running:

    WHM 6.4.2
    Cpanel 6.4.2-E2

No one can log in via FTP. It keeps telling them their login is incorrect. We've also noticed that instead of showing the default server name in the FTP '220' message, it is showing one of the customer's domains. Something seems severely horked up. Anyone have an idea?

We've looked at the proftpd.conf and it looks just like the ones on our other servers.

Nothing like a little rigging to get things working again. If anyone else experiences the problem, try switching to pureftpd and then back to proftpd. This seemed to kickstart things back to the proper configuration and got things working again. Bizarre, but at least all is well right now.

Have you check the premissions, user and group of all proftpd conf files?
