Hello, i want to know how it is possible via cpanel to configure apache server not to link the subdomains to: example.com/test but only to: test.example.com.

Right now when i create a subdomain (named test) both test.example.com and example.com/test are linked to the files that are under /home/example/public_html/test folder.

I just want the whole "subdomain folder" not to have access from example.com/test.
Only from test.example.com.

Is this possible to happen via cpanel, or i have to change values in the apache's conf?

Thanks a lot! :)

When you create the subdomain, place its document root outside of public_html when prompted on where to place the files for that subdomain.

If you do not see that prompt, ensure you are running cPanel version 11 with the X3 theme.
