hi im wondering if anyone could help me? i've had a site built and when i type the url www.********.com/dryad it takes me to a list of folders being DRYAD AGENT and DRYAD now ive noticed that in the dryad folder there's some stuff which can be downloaded which i dont want to be seen. Is it possible to protect this folder with the password protect directories feature in cpanel and will this not affect the running of my site?

    thanks keithsafc

so if i protect it through cpanel the web site will run properly? so if someone came to my site and knew what they were doing like a hacker....by typing in www.********.com/dryad they would get a password prompt? sorry but i dont know what you mean by the index thing.

    thanks keithsafc
