Help! - Server keeps going down

Hi,

When I check WHM its telling me that everything is failing but when I restart these things they are still showing as failed. My memory used keeps jumping up to around 90% and then the whole server goes down. Server load eventually goes up to 4 and it turns red as well

I can't figure out what's wrong here, its telling me the memory isn't being used by anybody so what is it being used for and why does my server keep crashing?

Have I missed something?

Try re-booting.

I've rebooted at least 6 times today after the server completly crashed but it still does the same thing after about 10 or 15 minutes.

The screen shot is great, but not very helpfull. What are the log files saying ? Are the services really down ? If not, have you tried restarting chkservd ? Any suspicious activity going on ? Anything wierd in the tmp folders ?

You seem to have your apache well out of date. There are security vulnerabilities known for that version. You may have been compromised. If apache is out of date, lord only knows what else is.

just something I noted... your /tmp seems to be screwed up somehow... you have multiple /tmp dirs showing up in that Current Disk Usage image... that's odd.

Also, it seems that your bind/named may be out of date as well.

It'd be nice to have the output from 'top' and 'ps aux' as well.
