    So i check my CPU/Memory/MySQL Usage

    And i have 3 o4 domains showing several times, like www.XXX.com.ar

    There many ways to improve the performance of your server including:
    - applying the latest patches, and security packages;
    - installing ACL rules and RBLs;
    - installing APF and BFD security aaplications;
    - installing mod_security;
    - rotate log files, and polish your config files.

    i would like to know that too, how is the speed of a server improved by installing mod_security?

    i had to drasticaly reduce the ruleset for mod_security to keep some servers alive.

    few things to do on your server, if not already done

    1. disable keepalive in httpd.conf
    2. install eaccelerator, and give it 16 mb of memory only, seeing that you dont have enough memory on the server.
    3. disable mod_gzip if you have it on.
    play around with my.cnf, enable mysql persistent connections, but limit the number of persistent connections. for your amount of memory, i would say 50 persistent connections, and 250 total (that you can find in php.ini). Also limit the total number of connections in my.cnf to 260.
    eable caching for mysql (also in my.cnf- search these forums for optimizes my.cnf's, or google fo "optimizing mysql")
    4. if you don;t use it, disable eximstats, postgresql
    5. addon the module "logschedule" and disable log processing during peek hours.

    and final words...you probably know thsi already, and you would have done it by now if it were possible...upgrade your hardware. More memory would be a good start, 1 gb is kind of minimum theese days.celeron is not a very fast processor, see if you have the option to switch to at least an old prescott.

    mod_security is not a security "silver bullet" for your server. The author of Mod Security defines "the purpose of ModSecurity is to increase web application security, protecting web applications from known and unknown attacks." By protecting your server and decreasing SPAM and minimizing hack attack, your server will gain more speed.

    Hope this helps!

    Not too much domains, too much overloading

    I have only 100 domains.

    But somes of them increase the load server to 3.0 for more than 6 days, according to my cpanel messages.

    But take a look at this, my server is a celeron with 512 ram - 40 % HD USED - and ONLY 15 gigas of monthly transfer of ALL my server- all my domains included - ALL emails included, so it is not a problem of visits saturation, right ?

    I will chech to use all your advices.

    thanks
