    Hello,

I received today my new hosting account and I had to configure whm for the first time.
    I 've crated a hostname
    serv1.mydomain.com
    and two NS
    ns1.serv1.mydomain.com
    ns2.serv1.mydomain.com

    and no A entries.

In my domain name geristar I haven't a mydomain.com domain name registered which is currently free.

When I 'm trying to assign a NS IP I get the message
Sorry, you are out of IPs to assign as nameservers.
    Supposed I have 5 IPs.

    Any help would be appreciated

    Thnx

Your name servers does not have to be the same as the hostname by the way !

now WHM does not like it on a single IP but it does work, You can do it all manually if you want by following this guide.

Setting up Private Nameservers in Cpanel

    Also, Check the IP's available.

WHM > IP Functions > Show/Edit Reserved IPs

Here will be a list allocated to your server.

    Thank you for your answer.
I've changed the NS as you suggested me.

    I've checked the
WHM > IP Functions > Show/Edit Reserved IPs
and there's only 1 IP. In my hosting account I saw a have the IPs in range *.*.*.66~70.

Do I have to register mydomain.com I use as hostname?
