    Hi there,

    I need to setup an application (WebAsyst) which requires mbstring. I have modified PHP Configuration file to:

    mbstring.detect_order=ASCII, UTF-8, SJIS, EUC-JP, JIS
    mbstring.encoding_translation=on
    mbstring.func_overload=0
    mbstring.http_input=UTF-8, SJIS, EUC-JP
    mbstring.http_output=UTF-8
    mbstring.internal_encoding=UTF-8
    mbstring.language=Neutral
    mbstring.substitute_character=none

    Save the configuration file, restart the Apache Server, reboot the VPS itself. However, when I try to install the application (WebAsyst), it still shows that mbstring Failed, or not enabled.

    If anyone ever installed this application before, or know how to enable mbstring, please let me know. I really appreciate all feedbacks.

    Many many thanks...

    If you have access to rebuild Apache in WHM, you can simply tick the box to add mbstring when building it.
