I am thinking of moving all accounts/data from one server in a data center that has become unreliable to a new server in a new data center. I have transferred accounts before using the WHM tool and found it not effective, especialy for large accounts. In addition, it didn't transfer Mailman records. This was quite a while ago. I am sure the scripts have improved since then. But the previous hassle has kept me at this data center far longer than I should.

    Here are my questions:

How have these transfer tools worked for others recently?

Do you know of any services that will perfom this for me"

The goal is to have all this happen wihout or certainly with minimal disruption to the clients.

If the backup data included clients' accounts and their DBs, rsync is your best option than WHM the transfer mechanism. When all files are transferred to your new server, you can restore them using the WHM.

Yeah, its the job for 24x7websitemovers.com......Let us know, if you are interested.

Anyway, larger accounts can be moved via ssh directly, if you have access to both the source as well as the destination....servers...
