I currently own a subdomain and recently contacted my host and she set up my username and password for me. I go to and enter in my login information but keep getting a message stating that either my username or password is incorrect. I contacted my host again and she verified that all of my information is correct. Any suggestions on what to do? This is getting very frustrating.

If you're getting the username/password box come up, then everything server-side should be working fine.

cPanel doesn't use any fancy tricks and just sticks to plain standard http authentication. There would only be an issue with your computer if you encountered similar problems with any site that users a standard browser-supplied username/password box.

That said, give it a shot in another browser as perhaps the one you are using is having some issues.

I use Safari browser on MacOSX 10.3.9. Although I never have problems logging in and stuff, there is one WHM form that just won't work for me. Sorry I don't remember which now, and it really doesn't matter for my point, but if I remember it has a match password field that absolutely won't work. In that case, I use FireFox browser and it works fine.

So, I guess I'm echoing previous comment... try another browser and you might try https too instead of http
