Hi,

I have:

ns1.xxx.com (webserver and dns1)
ns1.yyy.com (webserver and dns1)

ns2.xxx.com (dnsonly)

I have the ns2 in both webserver as sync changes, and both servers in ns2 as standalone.

My problem is that the DNS zones from ns1.xxx.com are in ns1.yyy.com and vice versa. I want that ns2.xxx.com have all zones but i don't want that this server can write in the others.

Thanks!

Hello :)

Please review the following documents for information about setting up your DNS cluster:

DNS Cluster - Documentation - cPanel Documentation
Guide to DNS Cluster Configurations - cPanel Knowledge Base - cPanel Documentation

Note that if you are asking for the ability to control which zones appear under the "Edit DNS Zone" options in Web Host Manager, it's a feature that's not currently available:

Ownership and access control of zones in the dns server.

Thank you.
Hi Michael,

Thanks for your reply.

I have readed the guide and all works as i want, but the problem is all zones are present in the three servers, and i want exactly the opposite, that the dns files from two masters servers doesn't share between it, i don't know if i'm exlaying well...

Thanks!

This is not possible if you are sharing the DNS-Only server with two separate hosting servers. There's a feature request for what you are seeking at:

Ownership and access control of zones in the dns server.

Thank you.
