I know been asked before as this is how I found the forum :)

I've had issues with one of the server with root becoming full, I've managed to sort out exim table, delete over 2gb of wordpress spam comments which has helped and cleaned out the tmp folder. All fine.

I've installed tmpwatch but now I can't seem to figure out how to create the cronjob to clean out older files within

/var/tmpDSK/

I'm not 100% this is the correct folder either as on trying to explore it I get unable to find or incorrect folder however the size of it sits at 4.2GB! So id like to empty it or at least remove all files that are older than 48 hours, any help would be great.

Ok I managed to figure this out but now I got an error when trying to manually clean it up

[email protected]*******1 [~]# /usr/sbin/tmpwatch -umc 10 /usr/tmpDSK
error: directory /usr/tmpDSK changed right under us!!!
error: this indicates a possible intrusion attempt

Any ideas?

Hello :)

Please try using "/tmp" instead of "/usr/tmpDSK" in the command you are using.

Thank you.
