    Hello,

I've searched, but not come up with a clear answer for this. I have a cPanel server that needs to be able to relay mail for another server on the same VLAN that *cannot* perform SMTP Auth. It's for a raid array management utility, and there's no chance of getting the company to fix it (believe me, it took me 2 weeks of daily calls and emails just to get a working version of the admin tool).

I need to know how to add a single IP address that exim will allow to relay mail without authentication, as this is somewhat critical in case a disk errors in this array. I've read the threads about /etc/relayhosts, yet I'm relatively certain that file would be overwritten and/or the IP removed after some time.

Is there a permenant method for this?

    Thanks
    -Brooks

    restart exim

hmm, are you certain of this? I'm not finding any reference to that file in exim.conf.

edit: never mind, I found it in antirelayd

    Thanks!
