Help with Imap users email

    I have a user that is not seeing any email in their webmail or in their mac client, the server says there are 3137 messages but only the new emails are shown and we can not see the other 3130 emails.

    The issue happened when I changed their password after trying to run the cpanel mail config after install it on a new imac.

    When I changed their iphone password to log in that's when all the messages dispersed, their email client on the imac shows the message count but can only see 7 new messages.

    How can I reset their mail so that we can sync all mail again.

    I tried rebuild on mac nothing. Tried repair mailbox permissions nothing.

    Hello,

    Are you using POP3 or IMAP in the desktop mail client? Check to see if the messages are stored in the "cur" directory on the server. EX:

    /home/$username/mail/$domain/$email/cur/
