    Hey,
I have just tryed to install the Free VPS software,
I have ran all the set up files and that went though fine, it all seemed to be going ok until i try and find it to use it.

If you're talking about FreeVPS from http://www.freevps.com/, you'd be better off heading to their website for advise on their product.

However what you could try is checking that you have correctly followed all the instructions:

    FreeVPS installation: http://www.freevps.com/docs/freevps_installation.html
    FreeVPS quota setup: http://www.freevps.com/docs/vps_quota_reconfiguration.html
    FreeVPS kernel setup: http://www.freevps.com/docs/vps_patched_kernel.html

and just as importantly, the tools to do the job (maybe this is what you missed):

    FreeVPS tools: http://www.freevps.com/docs/vps_tools.html

Its the FreeVPS tools that let you create virtual servers and do fancy things with them.

In case you're wondering, I don't happen to know all this as standard and was actually researching open source VPS solutions recently.

I'm considering installing FreeVPS on a new server some time in the next few months, possibly at the start of next year, and would be interested to know how it goes and what problems, if any, you run into running cPanel on a FreeVPS server.
