My secretary is using Cpanels built in file manager to upload files to the server. She is complaining that she can't use ANY service on the box after she completes any uploads. I have looked through /var/logs/ to try and find out where and why she is banned or black listed, but it appears her connection to the server should be fine. i am desperatley in need of assitance. if anyone has dealt with this problem before or has a solution or input, it would be greatly appreciated.

You may also want to see if there's any clues as to what's happening in the logs in /usr/local/cpanel/logs/

Here's a weird possibility, if she is using a ftp program that will try to do mulitple logins to do simultaneous uploads AND your ftp is configured to not allow more than X number of concurrent sessions, is it possible the additional sessions are seen as bad logins by a brute force detection program and then the IP is blocked from the server ? She can continue to do the uploads in progress but once she disconnects then she is locked out?. Do you see anything in the Cpanel BFD in the security or have anything like this from a third party program ? I dont think the filemanager uses an actual ftp client to do this but just want to make sure.
