helppppppppp in ftp

    i have 2 giga and i want to make ftp account and give them to people ,how i can make them use just 50 m not all my space,how i can make folder just 50 m and they cant add more,hope any one can help

    I don't think that's possible.

    You might want to use a web based file manager like genesis from xav.com for stuff like that.

    Giving FTP access allows users to upload and run php scripts, so if you don't trust them to stay under 50 MB, then you shouldnt give then FTP access at all.

    The only thing I can think of would be to create a cron job that deletes new files in that folder if they're over 50 mb.

    Are you the server admin (i.i root access), a reseller or just a site owner/admin?

    cpanel has a cron job function is you rhost has it enabled. You need to know a scripting language like perl or php though.
