HELPPPPPPPPPPP my server down every 12 hours

    hi all members

    i have the server cent os 4.1
    cpanel 10 stable version
    Apache/1.3.34 (Unix) mod_jk/1.2.14 mod_auth_passthrough/1.8 mod_log_bytes/1.2 mod_bwlimited/1.4 PHP/4.4.1 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 mod_ssl/2.8.25 OpenSSL/0.9.7a


    and every 12 hours about is down

    Have you checked your logs?

    Also if it's every 12 hours have you checked for a cronjob?

    cat /var/spool/cron/*

    Have alook around /var/log/messages to see for any issues.

    yes i have check the log is possible the my server is not secure?

    if it's exactly every 12 hours, there could be a script in the cron causing the crash, you can edit the cron jobs, taking out a few at a time to see if it still crashes....

    is possible upgrade the apache 1.334 to 2.2 on cpanel?

    This is typical cPanel-based crontab syntax. No problems in here.

    No, it is not possible. The cPanel doesn't support Apache 2.x, yet.

    I think the httpd.conf is messedup. Please try to tweak it well or reinstall apache. It will solve the issue.
