I am new to cpanel and have searched a bit, but haven't ran across this yet. If you don't use the DNS and email ports of cpanel (and just host websites). How do you hide the icons for items you don't want people to have access to from the accounts and other resellers? is it possible?

If there is something I've overlooked, I apologize, please post the link or document. We are on version. 68.0.28

This seems to be working well for what I want it to do, for the most part.

I do have a question, is there away to modify what they see in server-status. I think some of that information a client shouldn't necessarily see. For example, it is nice to have status of services, but if you disable DNS/Email because you run it on a different server, it would be unneeded to see the related services there.

    Hello,

You can disable the "Server Status Viewer" feature completely. This will allow the cPanel user to still have access to see "Server Information" without seeing the status of services. However, there's no feature to leave the option enabled and control which services the cPanel users can see. I encourage you to open a feature request if you'd like to see an option to control which particular statuses are enabled for cPanel users to see:

    Submit A Feature Request

    Thank you.

When I try to submit a feature request, do I need another login account? my forums account doesn't work.

You will need to create an account on the Feature Requests site, yes.
