Hiding versions from bad guys...

Hello everybody,

I know this can be done, I did it with the bind version but i can not do it with the mail apache and the other services that sometimes show themselfs to everybody.

I want to hide versions of apache, proftpd and the other public services, please, can anyone guide me?
