Hi, ive recently been seeing a very high CPU usage in WHM :

    Top Process %CPU 78.0 perl ./
    Top Process %CPU 62.0 perl ./
    Top Process %CPU 56.0 perl ./

Ive done a search here and google but found nothing that is very helpful, the only thing i did find was related to MRTG which has been removed completely so it cant be that.

Im guessing that its related to one of the stats programs or some other form of monitoring software.

If anyone has any ideas what might be causing this and can offer suggestions id be more than grateful, cheers.

    DO the following :-
    1) Login to server as root.
    2) Execute :- top c
    3) Check if the process is running and get the PID from the first field.
    4) lsof -p PID

You will get the domain under which the above .pl script is executing. Its upto you to suspend the account or change the permissions of that file.
