High Load Problem while update

Hello

When I press https://xxxxxx:2087/scripts/sysup and https://xxxxxxxx:2087/scripts/rhlupdate my server goes very high load.Maybe 100-150 load

Any idea for that ?

Check the log files including /var/log/messages and see if there were other processes running besides the upgrade. The load should not be that high regardless. Does this happen periodically or frequently?

I had this happen to me........the server compnay installed a single processor kernel instead of a dual processor hernel....and it cause all sorts of losd issues......not sure which one you have, but if it is a dual processor be sure you use a kernel-smp....
