    Hello,

In one of my servers I'm experiencing high server load (17-30 sometimes) while in normal state it's 0.2-0.6. When this happens, most of the times I see python in the top process. I'm sending a top from today's problem.

    Any ideas?

You might have some clients with huge mailing lists! Track down the PID of the process and see who is using the resource.

    /usr/sbin/lsof -t -i:PID
PID is the number of the process. I saw a thread discussing a huge problem with mailman and I suggest you search these forums.

    Hello,

Then you might have the same problem with me.... Darren from cPanel gave me the above guidelines:

All mailing lists displayed about 140-160 except one mailing list which displayed 202.000 (!!!!!) I removed that mailing list (the owner didn't know that, his webdeveloper created it but never used it) and the load went down to 0.2-0.7 as usual.

Try it and see if you had the same problem as me!
