Hello!

There is a option on cpanel/whm to remove the access logs after x days in /home/*/accesss-log?

I have disabled the option "Delete each domain's access logs after stats run" but now I have dozens of files in the access-logs folder.

And what is the logical date composing file names? today my log files are named in this format:

-rw-r----- 2 root user 5.4M Aug 17 15:30 a.b.com.br
-rw-r----- 1 root user 0 Aug 9 03:31 a.b.com.br-20130805-20130807
-rw-r----- 1 root user 0 Aug 11 03:39 a.b.com.br-20130805-20130807-20130809
-rw-r----- 1 root user 0 Aug 13 03:06 a.b.com.br-20130805-20130807-20130809-20130811
-rw-r----- 1 root user 0 Aug 15 04:19 a.b.com.br-20130805-20130807-20130809-20130811-20130813
-rw-r----- 1 root user 0 Aug 17 03:07 a.b.com.br-20130805-20130807-20130809-20130811-20130813-20130815
-rw-r----- 1 root user 15M Aug 17 03:07 a.b.com.br-20130805-20130807-20130809-20130811-20130813-20130815-20130817

Thanks!

There is no directory named /home/USERNAME/access-logs, it's a symbolic link to /usr/local/apache/domlogs/USERNAME

Ok, just change the folder, but my problem is the same, there is a setting in cpanel to remove the old files?

You mentioned that you disabled the following option under "Stats and Logs" in "WHM Home » Server Configuration » Tweak Settings":

"Delete each domain’s access logs after stats run"

You will actually want to enable this option to ensure the Apache domlogs for the domain name are removed after each statistics generation. Also, check to ensure the following option is turned off:

"Keep log files at the end of the month"

Thank you.
