Just got new server and have added /home2 dir on second hard drive, under edit setup in whm however I have default account dir setup as /home but When I create accounts it puts them on home2 dir.
Any ideas how to fix this or what might be causing it?

The cause is simple. When an account is created, if there are multiple options of where to put it, the one with the most free space is automatically used. You can move it in WHM afterwards, but the next one will also be created there.

Thanks we found a work around here on the forums to place the word none in home dir prefix in edit setup.

    Thank you

What that does is make it so WHM will use a directory with the word none in it for accounts, and since it doesn't exist, it'll use the default home directory.

Just in case you were wondering. ;)
