Ok, now I have an issue that is strange. As of the last Stable release (10.2.0-S83), horde will not function. What happens is when I or one of my users goes to horde, we get this big white page, and an error "A fatal error has occurred, DB Connect: Failed..."

I am running FreeBSD 5.4 Release P1, on Intel Xeons. I looked at the configuration file, and the remote database server IP and the login it assigns it is in there as it should be. I have hunted all over this forum for a solution as my users really want to use horde. Squirrel mail and Neo work ok, but horde will not find its database even with the information in the config file.

    Any ideas?

Run below few commands to solve horde DB problem.

You'll want to ensure that the Horde db is in face missing in action.

    1) mysqlshow |grep horde
If this comes up blank, try the following:

    2) mysqladmin create horde

    3) /scripts/fullhordereset

same issue here. first, there was what appeared to be an imap connection issue. after running fullhordereset with 10.4.0-C160 i'm getting the "Could not connect to database for SQL SessionHandler." error message from horde.

has anyone submitted a support ticket for this? seems it may be related to /usr/local/cpanel/bin/real-updatehorde but i can't be sure... maybe someone else can take a look? i have a feeling it may also be to do with mysqli & php5.0.4.

    Hi,

SSH to the server and execute the following scripts :-
    /scripts/updatenow
    /scripts/fullhordereset
    /scripts/fixwebmail
    /scripts/resethorde

It did fixed the SQL SessionHandler error (Could not connect to database for SQL SessionHandler." error message from horde) for me.
    Hope for the best. :)

    Horde

I'm having trouble sending messages with horde, clients can log in but can't send. After clicking on send, it gives the page error. Any suggestions?

I am getting the same error as SubZero.

What does the updatenow script do? I am currently running
    WHM 10.1.0 cPanel 10.2.0-R82
    RedHat Enterprise 3 i686 - WHM X v3.1.0
and do not want to upgrade to any edge or other unstable release.

i'm having the same issue after a reboot

cannot access `/usr/local/etc/cpanel/base/webmail/data': No such file or directory

    after running the fixwebmail script.

horde isn't working at all, it just reloads at the login screen (after you put in your username and password).
