    The error message is:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: _() in /usr/local/cpanel/base/horde/config/registry.php on line 86

    Any ideas?

    Hi,

I have no solution yet, but same Problem.

_() is normally a placeholder used by the gettext extension of php. PHP was compiled with gettext, recompiled it allready, but not solved...

Only happens on our RH9 machine, no problems on the "older" RHs...

I hope someone can figure out why only horde has no gettext working ;)

    MfG

    Hi,

I just solved (?) the Problem this night (Germany here...).

Don't know if only restarting helps, I did it as followed:

I recompiled PHP with gettext (again... it allready was..).
Then I restartet imap, I don't know what imap has to do with the horde php-error, but it solved it...

    Well, try this:
    "/scripts/restartsrv imap" (without the quotes)

If this didn't help, recompile your apache / PHP including the gettext module and do "/scripts/restartsrv imap" again.

Hope it helps you too :)

    MfG

it appears to be broken only when accessing from cpanel (2082)

using :2095 or /webmail is ok

    I get this--running RH-9 latest edge
    from port https--2083/

Warning: main(PEAR.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /usr/local/cpanel/base/horde/lib/Registry.php on line 13

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required 'PEAR.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php') in /usr/local/cpanel/base/horde/lib/Registry.php on line 13

I have seen this error in the forums and tried the various fixes with no luck

I can however access horde as you can with no errors thru port https--2096/

I'm getting the same thing with a RH9 box. I just disabled Horde for a bit until cpanel can get it fixed.

If you contact cPanel they can fix it for you. I'm not sure how to do it myself though.

Had customers open tickets about this too...

Going to web mail via /webmail or :2095 works fine and it's how they should be accessing web mail anyway but it does need to be resolved within cpanel..

This should be resolved with the latest RELEASE and EDGE builds.

We just encountered this after latest upgrade

We WERE using WHM 9.4.0 cPanel 9.4.1 S65 and did not have any problems with Horde. We just upgraded one box to WHM 9.9.7 cPanel 9.9.8 S6 (based on cPanel's urging: A Security hole has been discovered in the cPanel's frontpage installer and backup handler), and now we are receiving the same error that is mentioned by the thread starter:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: _() in /usr/local/cpanel/base/horde/config/registry.php on line 86

As I said, this problem JUST SURFACED for us as a result of this upgrade, and it appears to apply to all accounts on the box.

As mentioned in this thread, access works fine using :2095. The problem occurs only when attempting to access mail through the cPanel mail options (both READ WEBMAIL from within ADD/REMOVE ACCOUNTS and WEBMAIL from the main cPanel screen).

As an aside that's probably not related, it seems that the figures displayed when you select SHOW DISC SPACE USED from within the cPanel ADD/REMOVE ACCOUNTS funtion are WAY OFF from actual usage figures. Is this something that others have run into, and is there a fix for it (sorry...I haven't searched the forum for this...too busy trying to get Horde to work for my clients)?

    :)

    Thanks.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
