Horde Groupware 5.1.1 - Lost the Fetch Mail feature?

I have a user that was using Horde previously to bring in mail from another ISP. i.e. they get a free email account from their DSL provider and wanted to periodically check that account, plus their hosted email... they could do that in the old Horde by using the Fetch Mail feature to add the POP/IMAP account details, and Horde would check that mailbox for them.

In the new Horde Groupware 5.1.1, either the feature is missing, or I just can't find it. I've used Google to search about this issue and can't find anything. Nothing mentioned on Horde's website either. Anybody know what the deal is?

Hope I'm not wasting your time here with bad Info. I never knew this was there previously, wanted to look it up.

Your Google-foo is incredible. That is one of the reasons you ARE the InfoPro. The first link is exactly what I was looking for and the 2nd link completely answers the question as to why it was removed and also mentions the 3rd link... a crowdfunded campaign to not only bring back the "fetch mail" feature, but re-do it from scratch and make remote mail accounts work just like local accounts... hopefully coming in Horde 6.x.

Thanks very much! I will, reluctantly, have to report to the customer that the function is now gone and not returning any time soon.

Yes, would appear they (Michael Slusarz and company) pocketed $3000 two years ago, to add the Fetch Mail feature back, and haven't followed through yet... Sipping mai tais on a beach in the south pacific I imagine.
